Formed by the siblings Sarah and Henrik Böttger, their design Studio stands out for their mutual approach to each project. They develop and create new products, objects and furniture by discovering ordinary daily scenarios to add a fresh impact on the object in either form or function. Alongside they run a deep interest for materials with respect for traditional and contemporary manufacturing processes to emphasize modernity of familiar materials. Betting on an aesthetic vision based on great attention to detail, purity and the essentials of a piece, the objects designed by the german studio are the result of the accumulated experience in the fields of craft, design and art. Sarah is a trained furniture maker and studied Product Design at HFG Academy of Art and Design and the Aalto University former TAIK in Helsinki. Since 2018 she teaches at the Bauhaus-University in Weimar. Henrik graduated in design 2008. Both share a passion and curiosity for the creative process and naturally developed a common formal language despite their individual approach.
