Juuri

Juuri is a series of glass receptacles whose special features result from the manual processing of glass. All the components are based on one basic shape that gives rise to six different vessels by means of deliberately placed cuts. Two different sized lids and a flexible plastic ring enable the different shapes to be combined with one another in diverse ways. The two contrasting materials, flexible plastic and rigid glass, form a single unit. The first series of prototypes were made at Glasmanufaktur Poschinger in the Bavarian Forest on the basis of a joint R&D process.
